Moriones Festival 2021 in Marinduque

Moriones Festival 2021 in Marinduque

Ulong Beach, Capayang, Marinduque, Philippines | Virtual Tour At Maikling Tula

Ulong Beach, Capayang, Marinduque, Philippines |

Virtual Tour At Maikling Tula

Memories ba kamo?
Presyong sulit..
Kapag tropa or kamag anak mo pa ang may ari...
Graduation, Holy week, Pasko or Bagong Taon..
Relate much ba kau guys?
Share naman kayo ng karanasan nyo jan..
Libreng magbahagi ng kwento nyo..
Walang bayad ito..
Hahahaha..

Bintakay, Mogpog, Marinduque

Bintakay, Mogpog, Marinduque

Bintakay is one of the barangays located in Mogpog, Marinduque.

You can easily reach this Barangay when you travel via roro thru the Balanacan Port Pier, also located in Mogpog.

From Balanacan to Bintakay is almost 15 to 20 minutes only via tricycle. From Balanacan, you can enter this barangay thru Brgy. Capayang or via Brgy. Laon in which you'll pass through Sitio Sihulan, already a part of Bintakay.

From Sitio Sihulan, almost all the roads are already cemented. With remaining few that are still for the project of the barangay to finished and be cemented also. You will also pass a small cement bridge that will lead you to the Sitio called "Ibaba - also part of the Proper 1". You will pass through also the waiting shed to Sitio Biyaya also proudly known Sitio Buaya.

After this, you will reached the Bintakay Elementary School which was founded in 1912.

From here also, you can clearly see the Bintakay river that sometimes dry, and if lucky, with times that clear water flowing on it. Water from here came in the mountainous area of Sitio Guintuan and Sitio Lunsaran.

You can also see a legendary Bigaa tree proudly still standing beside the river, with a bamboo tree and a supportive dike beside. This tree according to elders is over 100 years old of age and still graciously standing since the beginning of the World War II.

All kids raised in Bintakay had surely a swimming experience beside this tree that is situated right beside the river. In their times, no constructed dike yet and this part was still deep in which they can dive freely.

The Bintakay Church is also located here where you need to pass through before you finally reached the Brgy. Bintakay Barangay Hall and the court.

Adventures that you can do in Bintakay:
1. Swimming in Miray Falls located in Sitio Lunsaran, Brgy. Bintakay, Mogpog, Marinduque
2. Swimming in Busay Falls located in Sitio Guintuan, Brgy. Bintakay, Mogpog, Marinduque

Mogpog is one of the most used gateway to Marinduque specially when you have a sea travel from Lucena City where you've got to ride on a ship route to Balanacan. Wherein Balanacan is one of the biggest sea port in Marinduque.

Almost a year, or perhaps two years ago, this is the only operational sea port in Marinduque. No matter where your town of visit in Marinduque you have no choice but you will end up here. Unloading in a ship via this port.

But thanks to the redevelopment of other sea ports. Cawit Port in Boac, Marinduque and the other one in Buyabod Port in Sta. Cruz, Marinduque is now operational too.
